Das Freak Valley X-Mas Fest ist praktisch der knuffig kleine Winterableger des Festivals. Neben tollen Bands gibt es einen freaky Weihnachtsmarkt mit kulinarischen Leckereien. Für Durststiller ist neben dem normalen reichhaltigen Angebot zusätzlich mit Craft Beer, Wein und Glühwein bestens gesorgt!
Auch das "kleine" Freak Valley im Winter war in den letzten Jahren, wie das große Freak Valley, stets ausverkauft!

Glasgow Coma Scale
Die Frankfurter Instrumental-Band Glasgow Coma Scale, benannt nach einer in der Medizin verwendeten Skala für Bewusstseinsstörungen, wird ihrer Hauptausrichtung nach in den Medien als Post Rock-Band geführt. Also eine recht entspannt vor sich hin groovende Erfahrung? Gewiss nicht – ein gewaltiger Energieschub durchfliesst den Sound von GCS. Genretypische Gitarrenschleifen wechseln mit krachenden Riffs, die Band operiert nicht nur aus der eigenen Szene heraus, es ist vielmehr ein Verschmelzen von verschiedenen Stilen.

Karkara
Explosive power trio that furiously mixes garage / fuzz and middle eastern sounds, KARKARA is an unprecedented project that takes the gamble of glueing together the East and the West sound in a common goal: transcendence. Created in 2017 in Toulouse - France- under the idea of the guitarist and the bassist and inspired by the psychedelic rock scene of the Middle East and the Maghreb of the 60s and 70s, the band combines its traditional inspirations with a viceral taste for the shattering sounds of garage fuzz and contemporary krautrock.
Even going so far as to use their favourite atypical instrument - the didgeridoo - the three members of KARKARA, like desert wizards, take pleasure in pushing the boundaries of the genre further and take their audience into a mystical and indomitable world.

Travo
Hailing from Braga, Portugal, Travo is a high-energy 4-piece band blending heavy psych, prog-rock, trash-metal, and garage rock. Their self-released EP "n’O SILO" (2018) and debut album "Ano Luz" (2019) led to a deal with gig.ROCKS!, with their 2022 release "Sinking Creation" propelling them to the forefront of the Portuguese scene and onto European tours. Known for raw, electrifying live performances, Travo has become a favorite for fans of King Gizzard, Osees, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets. Their latest album "Astromorph God" has received high praise, taking the band to several stages all over.

Madmess
Emerging from the heart of Porto around 2017, Madmess created a unique sound in the realm of heavy psychedelic rock. Drawing inspiration from the iconic sounds of the 70s, their music transports listeners on a mind-altering voyage. Join them on this mesmerising quest, where they continue to push the boundaries of sonic exploration through unknown dimensions.

Zone Six
Founded in 1997 by Dave Schmidt (aka Sula Bassana) together with his Liquid Visions pals Hans-Peter Ringholz and Claus Bühler. Zone Six are one of the first impro-bands of the Krautrock revival. Always evolving...
Now the crew consists of Sula plus Pablo Carneval (Electric Moon, Interkosmos) and Manuel Wohlrab (Yanos).
